You Really Don’t Need Soap
Regimen December 22nd, 2007
Commercial soaps strip the natural oils from your skin. They are harsh and often do more harm than good. You really don’t need an expensive cleanser either, though some people have success with them. All you really need to clean your skin is warm water. It shouldn’t be too hot, as that will only dry and irritate your skin.
Wash your hands. Using warm water pooled in the palms of your hands and splashed gently on your face, rinse about 30 times. Use the tips of your middle and ring fingers to gently massage oily areas. Your skin will be nice and clean without any need for a harsh detergents. Of course, this routine assumes you are exfoliating regularly.
